Next Project
We would like to thank the following groups, individuals, and businesses that have chosen to lend a hand to support what we do at Blessing Barn.  In the course of our existence, there have been many more than we have listed below.  We trust that God's blessing has been poured out on all who have committed their time and talent to our efforts.

(examples of "units" are as follows, but is any item that stands alone:
1 unit = 1 bag of clothes     1 unit = 1 chair           1 unit = 1 box of books
1 unit = 1 sofa                  1 unit = 1 computer     1 unit =  1 baby swing
5 units = dining table and 4 chairs)

8/11
David Cameron and
JP Morgan
David is our long time volunteer, who hosts our Saturday give-aways.  He made a generous donation to us, which his employer matched.  On top of that, he named us as his charity of choice to receive an additional $1000 gift from his employer, due to his high level of volunteer hours for 2010 (115 hours).

8/11
Woodstock Assembly
They hosted their annual community give-away to which we supplied about 50 bags of clothes.

Zemper family
This family sold their house and donated the remaining items.  This filled a 17' U-Haul twice, along with 3 truck loads of items.  They designated we sell all items to fund our organization.
(stafff note; our 501(c)3 papers allow us to open a resale shop to fund what we do, so be watching for us to open one someday)

7/11
Emmanual Lutheran
E.L hosted a community health fair for which we supplied about 50 bags of clothing for them to give to recipients.

6/11
Verlo
Dropped off 13 pieces of mattresses/box springs for our recipients on the list. Thanks to the drivers, Brad and George, who graciously unloaded and stacked them for us.

Turning Point
Thanks to this noble organization for referring donors who call them, to us to make their donations to.  They have been referring donors to us for many months.
